Introduction of Dadaocheng
This was once the most prosperous area in Taipei, embedded with history and stories of celebrities. To know the history of Taipei, you can never miss Dadaocheng.
Dadaocheng has gradually faded into background. However, its uniqueness still attracts people to explore its glow in the dark, such as the famous Dihua Street for Chinese new year food and goods, the cloth market – Yongle Market, and several well-kept mansions of rich and powerful families back in the old time. Take a walk in Dadaocheng, you will see the breathtaking beauty of these old mansions and get fully satisfied with the delicious local street food. It is always incredibly crowded before/during Chinese new year.
